‘The Brighter Times’

The news has a big impact on people’s moods. Which as of late, hasn’t done a great job of brightening people’s day. So we hacked it. To spread a little happiness Mike’s Hard Lemonade created ‘The Brighter Times’ campaign. We worked with a local news station and the Washington Post to deliver a little bit good to the world.

 

The ‘Happier’ Washington Post

To spread the word, we created a full-site takeover on the Washington Post, letting viewers know that Mike’s Hard was putting the ‘Happy’ back int he headlines. Viewers were guided to a curated section on feel-good stories, and served responsive ad units depending on the story they had just finished reading.

The Happy Edition

To spread the joy, we partnered with Tank’s Good news and created a paper that only contained smile-inducing stories. In cities like LA, New York, San Fransisco, Houston, Seattle, Orlando and Denver locals could pick up a free copy to brighten their days.
